Two new ones from Jim W1PID

Jim W1PID is about one of the nicest guys you could meet, anywhere. Whenever I hear him on the air; he has a great signal and a friendly greeting. He is a boon to the QRP community. All that and he has great adventures, too!

Operating on Hermit Lake

Europe on 5W SSB from the Trail

are two of his newest.

Enjoy! And don't forget, this weekend is the ARRL DX contest. Band conditions have been the best we've seen in a while. Have fun getting some new ones, QRP style!

    Hello Larry, I enjoyed the stories by Jim. A lot QRPers are working with CW, but SSB is also possible. I worked most of my 70 DXCC with phone. And they are always amazed to hear that I work with 5 watts. It is really not necessary to work with 500 watts or more. We show that QRP is a new way of making wonderful contacts.
