The main reason I think it's a TV is that occasionally this noise will raise its ugly head on Sunday afternoons too - particularly during football season.

Larry W2LJLarry W2LJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11511736425569962662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12559579.post-41378264102816942052011-12-02T06:42:34.285-05:002011-12-02T06:42:34.285-05:00I have the MFJ unit as well, Larry. I'm not impressed with the internal construction at all, though.

I found a schematic for a noise canceler that looks interesting but I'm unable to try building it myself at the moment.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11984840704237681015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12559579.post-52669848200871661142011-12-02T06:28:37.000-05:002011-12-02T06:28:37.000-05:00Good morning Larry, I use the MFJ 1026 to remove t...Good morning Larry, I use the MFJ 1026 to remove the power line noise which basically is bothersome in damp weather. I do however have a plasma TV and when it is on puts the power line noise to shame. The 1026 does a great job of removing it. I do have an audio example on the blog of how it works with the plasma TV noise. It is from February 7th entitled "Can you hear me now" Just go to the monthly listings on my blog and click on February that is the best way to look it up. Have a listen and see what you think of it.VE9KK https://www.blogger.com/profile/04720839744779758420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12559579.post-86233521796445691662011-12-02T00:37:21.272-05:002011-12-02T00:37:21.272-05:00Larry,
