Sorry, but I'm still a skeptic of QRP SSB though I'll concede it can work if you're located on the eastern seaboard, at a high elevation, and during a big contest.
But try five watts on any Sunday night on 75m from Muncie, Indiana with a dipole at 30 feet.
But I've never been interested in the QRP lifestyle just because of the low-power...
If I could run a kilowatt from a K1-sized kit that I built and power it for hours from a small battery, and not have to worry about it frying my body cells or interfering with the neighbors stereo, I'd be a kilowatt kind of guy. HI!
