The conditions of the bands and the amount of band activity will be inversely proportional to the amount of chores on W2LJ's list. The more chores, the better conditions - the more free time, the crummier the conditions.
And you should all take that to heart, because generally, I'm a pretty busy guy.

So true! This is one of the great unwritten laws of the universe. Everytime I get engrossed in a ham radio-related project, something always turns up. It could be worse--I could be organized! I enjoy your blog very much. A little humor helps me get through the day. Aloha de Russ (KH6JRM),
ReplyDeleteHam Radio Operator Band Condition Coefficient Formula:
ReplyDeleteT = Available Time, number of chores
BC = Band Conditions
BS = Band Saturation, amount of activity
BC = BS/T
And thus BC/BS = T which states that the amount of available
time is inversely proportional to Band Condition and directly proportional to Band Saturation.
Hence, the more saturated the bands are the more time you will have and in the same vein the
poorer the conditions are the more time you will have.
Enjoy your blog a lot, please keep it up.
God Bless
Edward
