Hard to believe it was 53 years ago today!

53 years! Where did the time go?

Buzz Aldrin is the only crew member left. The flight jacket he wore during the mission is up for auction with Sotheby's and is expected to go for more than 2 million. Wow!

I was 12 years old and was absolutely GLUED to the TV set that day. If you're old enough to remember, where were you?

  1. Hi Larry, I was 21 years old and in training to become a nurse, and I sat in front of the TV with colleagues during the coffee break. It's etched in my memory.

My wife and I were at her brother's house watching the landing on their TV. They were in the back yard working in the garden.

  3. I watched it on a big screen set up in Disney's Tomorrowland. It seemed a bit more important than the Mad Teakettle ride.

I listened to the landing on the radio while at Scout Camp.
