Google Chrome

While being up here in Lake George, the WiFi connection has been "not so good" (very weak). So I have found that, for whatever reason, that using Google Chrome as the browser of choice has been working much better than FireFox. It loads quicker and doesn't seem to get hung up as much.

No HF operating today. Our last day here has been rainy. Intermittent showers are making everything wet and very humid here, to boot. And we are now in the process of packing up to head back to NJ tomorrow. Next year I will bring extra whips and everything, so that I don't run into Buddistick problems again.

  1. I've been using Google Chrome for a while now both at home and work. It is very snappy and effortlessly allows syncing of bookmarks across computers.

I don't have many extensions installed but for the ones I do, it seems to have no performance impact.

Have a good trip home - it's hot in NJ too!

  2. I have tried Chrome too and have been quite impressed but it has one major drawback for me - there is no mail alerter extension that can handle multiple Gmail accounts, and it doesn't support the toolbar that I use in Firefox to achieve this.
