ReplyDeleteMy problem is I've taken my wife to Emcommwest and Pacificon. She now has a dim view of ham radio guys. All the obnoxious questions from these types of hams with a delusional sense of self importance/entitlement which paint a bad picture for the hobby.
Of course I sit here in the living room on the laptop with my HT and a slimjim dual band antenna in a PVC bow sandwiched between the other couch and the ceiling, :).
