10th Anniversary Giveaway!

On April 30th, it will be ten years since the "W2LJ - QRP - Do More With Less" blog was born.

In appreciation for all who read this blog, I am going to give something away to one lucky reader. I have a new, mint condition, unused, complete sheet of fifty United States Amateur Radio stamps, issued in 1964 on the 50th Anniversary of the ARRL - Scott #1260. I am going to have the sheet matted and framed - ready for display on some deserving shack wall. All I ask is that you send an e-mail to w2lj@arrl.net - entitled "Blog Anniversary Giveaway". Include your name, call sign and mailing address.

Any Amateur Radio op worldwide can enter. I will package and ship the framed stamps to any destination that the United States Post Office will accept.

The names and call signs will be loaded into a software program such as RandomPicker on April 30th and a winner will be determined. The winner will be announced here, and then the framed stamps will be posted.

Good luck, and thank you for reading!

Announced today by Terry WAØITP from the Four States QRP Group:

The Four State QRP Group is pleased to announce the availability of a new kit. Building on the very popular EZKeyer, this new and capable Morse Code keyer has some additional features - a beautiful blue, easy building enclosure, new PIC microcontroller, larger message memories, additional commands, new printed circuit board layout, and large panel mount push button switches for easy assembly and use.

See the kit's home page for more details and ordering information.

As always, thank you for supporting the Four State QRP Group. All proceeds go to funding OzarkCon.

I have the original AAØZZ EZKeyer and it's a keeper.  This one looks to be even better!

I just received my EZKeyer II in the mail. It looks like a GREAT keyer and a nice kit......First Class all the way. I think that it is a steal at the price they are asking and the profits support QRP activities. I'll report once I have put it together.

Ordered one as soon as you posted this and received it within 3 days. It went together in under an hour and works great! They did a real nice job with this. It's a nice construction and the instructions are great.
Kudos to Four State QRP. I hope they keep the kits coming and I will keep buying.

I finally carved out an hour of my valuable time (!) and put the kit together. It went together smoothly and it works great. I plan to use it with my Ten Tec 1320, since it doesn't have a keyer built in. The kit went together smoothly, the instructions are great and it works like a charm. It does NOT include a battery case for the 3 - AAA batteries needed to power it, so if you don't have one in your junk box, be sure and order one when you order the kit. They offer 3 recommendations with the kit: Radio Shack 270-085, Mouser 546-BH3AAAW and DigiKey BH3AAA-W-ND.

Thanks for letting us know about this keyer. I recommend it highly. Priced right and the profits support a good cause.
