Sad change to the blogroll

Sadly, I got the following message from Jeff KE9V this morning:

I'm not sure what's behind this, but I hope that this is temporary and/or that Jeff reconsiders. We may not always share the same opinion on things; but he is one of the finest writers among the ranks of Amateur Radio operators that I know. His absence would be a loss for us all.

  1. I totally agree Larry I too very much enjoyed his posts and I too hope it is a temporary event.

  2. Strange, he wrote his last post 2 days ago. Nothing announced he would stop writing. So unfortunate, it was a interesting read. Sometimes you have to make difficult decisions I think. If I would stop my blog I would announce it at least for my readers. 73, Bas

I too have followed Jeff for many years. From his Twitter account he's posted these comments:

2019-02-22 Retiring from #hamradio at the end of 2019. Follow me and let's ride out one last year of radio adventure together!

2019-05-27 I've maintained a Web presence continuously since 1995. That ended a few days ago when I deleted my server. (Delayed slightly at noted here to Larry) Time marches on. I'm simply travelling thru it.

Alas, we all will be following in Jeff's footsteps one day. His Twitter Account is

    73 to All.
