Neat!

Saw this on the street in Bolton Landing tonight as we were walking to a restaurant for dinner.  Not sure if this a restored original or just a reproduction (leading towards that) of a Willy's WWII Jeep.  Most of the originals are in museums - I find it hard to believe that someone would put one on the road, especially without some kind of special plates denoting its historic status.

But it's still cool to see, anyway!

  1. Larry,

There is a Willys jeep not far from here that is actually for sale. I will try to get a picture of it and send you. Also, there are many old Land Rovers still in use, more models than I knew existed, many in excellent condition. I still have my eye open for a BJ55 Land Cruiser, but they are rare even here. I did see a nice FJ55, which I suppose could be converted to diesel, but then it gets pricey.
