They were bad and have been for a while now. I'm lucky that I managed to garner 45 QSOs in the Skeeter Hunt. It seems the bands went right down the tubes right after.
But I did manage to work Gus in Newfoundland VO1/DJ8QP, on 20 Meters. I don't know whether Gus is visiting on business or perhaps, vacation. I would guess the latter - looks like a beautiful place to visit. I wouldn't mind spending some time there myself - but not in the winter, I think!
